Scholarships are intended to make it possible for anyone wanting to attend the Star Arts Retreat to be able to do so. Awards cover part of a recipient’s room and board, but not the Star Island registration fee, the Arts programming fee, or any other expenses, including parking at the dock.

Although the Scholarship Committee is especially interested in helping new applicants, we also support returning Shoalers whose financial situation may warrant support.

The Financial Aid/Scholarship Application for 2024 will be available in January. Star Arts aims to be a welcoming place for everyone who wants to attend, and one of the ways we do that is through financial aid. The process is confidential and we encourage you to apply. You now only need to fill out one form, Star Island’s Financial Grants form, to request assistance from both Star Arts and the island.
